Accessibility is a core element of our Pack culture. We want Pack 334 to be as accessible as possible. Our goal is for any child who wants to be a Scout to be a part of our Pack. Financial accessibility is a big part of that.
Cub Scout Pack 334 leadership works hard every year to keep our costs as low as possible. For the 2025-2026 program year, we were able to reduce costs and lower dues to $260, as well as offer a discount for families who pay in full.
We are aware that Cub Scouts can feel like an expensive activity; many of the leaders have, or have had, their children in the Pack. We also know that, in comparison to other year-long weekly programs, Cub Scouts is relatively reasonably priced: there are not many other year-long programs of any kind for $260, or about $29 a month! There are additional costs for uniforms, and field trips, and camping trips… and those add up fast.
To that end, the Pack has established a Financial Support Fund. This fund is set up to help families whose child wants to be a Scout, but the costs remain prohibitive. The amount available in the fund changes, as it is funded by the generosity of families in the pack.
For the 2025-2026 program year, we have created an application process for families that require financial support. The application is confidential and will only be viewed by the Pack Committee.
To apply for Financial Support from Pack 334, please submit a completed application below. A Committee Member will respond to your request within a few days.
Financial Support Application
Please submit one application per Scout for each situation. If you would like to apply for financial support for multiple children in the Pack, or multiple situations, please submit a separate application for each.
