Original Trip Notes
The Pack has reserved our campsite space at Knoebels. The price is $45 per person.
Since the park has so many great food options, the Pack will not be providing dinner on Saturday. Instead, families can purchase what food they want from the park (or bring their own picnic).
Since not everyone will ride a lot (or any) of the rides, we are leaving it to each family to purchase the wristband/patch option (or buy individual ride tickets). You can purchase the wristband and patch here.
The program includes:
- Space for one tent from Friday night to Sunday; we place multiple tents on each campsite.
- A snack on Saturday morning, a cracker-barrel snack on Saturday night, and a hot breakfast on Sunday morning.
- Restroom, water, electricity, and a child’s playground in the camp.
- Pack Opening Colors, Saturday, 10am
- Pack Snack and Hike, Saturday, 11am
- Free Time / Rides in the Park: Saturday, 12pm to 7pm
- Pack Cracker-barrel: Saturday, 8pm
- Park Quiet Hours: 11pm to 8am
- Pack Religious Service (Non-Denomination, Optional): Sunday, 730am
- Pack Breakfast: Sunday, 8:00am
- Pack Closing Colors: Sunday, 9:00am
- Breakdown / Camp departure: Sunday, 9:15am
Additional information:
- Families can choose to arrive Friday night or Saturday morning; the price for the camping space is the same either way. Please try to arrive by 10am on Saturday and know that the park is about 2.5 hours away.
- Adrian will be on-site late Friday afternoon and will designate camping space.
- Families should bring the smallest possible tent they can as space will be limited. For example: 5 people in a 6-person tent, great; 2 people in a 6-person tent, not great.
- Families should be prepared to provide their own food on Friday night and on Saturday morning, the park food facilities will likely not be open at those times.
- Families should be prepared to provide their own food or purchase meals from the park for lunch and dinner on Saturday.
- Families are encouraged to carpool as much as possible, as parking is very limited.
