October Camping is the Best!

Cool mornings, crisp air around the campfire, no bugs… these are all wonderful things that could happen when you camp in October. Regardless, we will have a great time!

We are planning a Pack camping trip at Camp Garrison – Native American Village in Musser Scout Reservation to coincide with Fall Fest on Saturday, October 18.

We will be attending Fall Fest as a Pack on Saturday, the 18th. That is the only activity planned for Saturday during the day.

We have the entire camp reserved for Friday and Saturday night, and it includes

• Electricity
• Hot and cold running water
• Kitchen with a gas range and refrigerator
• Covered pavilion with picnic tables
• Bathrooms with showers and flush toilets
• Fire pit

This is a tent-only camping trip, as the facility does not provide indoor sleeping accommodations.

The registration office is at Camp Garrison, Musser Scout Reservation, 4021 Upper Ridge Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Our facility is the “Native American Village“.

We will be camping in tents; if you need to borrow a tent or any other gear, please reach out to your Den Leader, Sarah, or Adrian.

Required Forms:

• Health and Medical Record: Everyone (Scouts, Parent/Guardian, and siblings)
  • NOTE: If you filled this out for the September camping trip at Camp Jarvis, you do not need to fill it out again. If you have filled it out within the last 12 months, you do not need to fill it out again. However, if you are new or if you last filled it out more than 12 months ago, you do need to fill it out!
• Activity Consent Form: Every Scout and youth attending.
