2025 October Camping Trip
Volunteer Positions Remaining:
16Volunteer Scheduling
Please sign up for at least two volunteer shifts to help during our October camping trip. Most roles occur multiple times over the weekend, and each shift needs two parents.
Good news: Cubmaster Adrian or Assistant Cubmaster Sarah will lead each activity. Volunteers are there to assist—not to run the whole thing. We’ll give clear instructions on site.
What you’ll do: lend a hand with simple tasks (setup, safety, serving, clean-up), keep things moving, and follow the lead of the coordinator.
What you won’t do: have to plan the activity or supervise alone.
Roles
- Gear Team — Thu evening load-in at the church; Sun evening unload/return to Pack office.
- Campfire Team — Help build/maintain campfire, collect wood, follow safety steps, and confirm it’s dead out.
- S’mores Team — Stage ingredients & sticks, distribute, monitor safe use, and tidy up afterward.
- Kitchen Team — Assist with meal prep, serving, and clean-up; make sure food/utensils are ready and put away.
- Sunday Service Team — Lead a reading or a song.
- Grounds Team — Lead a quick site sweep with Scouts, reinforce Outdoor Code/Leave No Trace, dispose of trash.
- Buildings Team — Check cabins/kitchen/bathrooms before departure and help with any needed cleaning.
Tip: If you’re flexible, pick the slots with the fewest volunteers first—thanks for pitching in!
